Tokyo BarCamp 2009
I attended the Tokyo Barcamp on Saturday and the Sun Yoga Building.
It was a great chance to see the wider 外人 community ;) The event was the conceived by Matthew (Karamon)

with help from Jim Grisanzio and Shoji Haraguchi.
An many others.
I did two presentations and a sort of round table. This is Alberto Tomita and myself talking about TLUG. This ended up being the first presentation of the day. We were scheduled to talk later but when they the first two sessions were cancelled because no-one was ready we decided to just go.
We might have got more people if we went latter, but it was a less-technical group, and the main thing was tell people that we existed.
The pictures of our talk were taken by iMorpheus
I was planing to make the second presentation a light introduction and round table discussion about the semantic web but I really needed to prep more. It did however lead to a lot of discussion outside and eventually a round table discussion.
There were a lot of good presentations and discussion.

Thanks Jim. It was a great event.
I will have to get some help with post processing the photos. They didn’t turn out how I was hoping.
Looking at the videos[1] I missed a lot of really great talks, but we had a really good round table discussion which I will write about when I have recover ;)
